Introduction to Fly Fishing
This is an ideal way to introduce yourself to fly fishing. Under the guidance of a qualified instructor you will learn all you need to start fly fishing for trout. In a fully equipped lakeside fishing cabin, youll be taught all about the fishing tackle, the flies used, what, when and how to fish them, how to read the water and how to cast a fly. Then its your opportunity to put all the coaching into practise and fly fish for trout from the banks of world famous Rutland Water. If you are lucky enough to catch a fine trout, it will even be prepared and packed for you to take home and show off to friends and family. You may take up to a maximum of two fish home. Rutland Water has approximately 26 miles of shoreline, covering 3,500 acres and is Europes premier trout fishing lake; the trout are not too easy to catch but the quality of the fish are world class. Light refreshments and a certificate to show off just in case you dont make a catch are included.
