Snowboarding was invented in the 1960s in the USA and has grown in popularity around the world ever since. It is essentially skateboarding down a snowy hill but on a board with no wheels! In 1998 it became an Olympic sport where world class riders perform dizzying tricks, however you wont be learning how to do this just yet but if youre wanting to hopefully achieve that level, these lessons are the best ways to learn no matter what your ability. We may not have a lot of snow fall in Britain, but thats no reason not to snowboard any time of the year.
